Brendan Keegan

If you have ever visited downtown Easton, Maryland you have undoubtedly driven past Brasserie Brightwell. Hopefully you have been lucky enough to pop in and chow down on some delicious fare created by Chef Brendan Keegan. Many of the ingredients used in Brendan's dishes grow right in the back yard (Cleo Braver's back yard, actually) at Cottingham Farm where I photographed the Chef amongst organic ingredients.

Ashley Riddle

Ashley Riddle considers it an honor to be a part of a bride’s wedding day. She Ashley Riddle considers it an honor to be a part of a bride’s wedding day. She realized when she was planning her own wedding that there weren’t enough choices for on-site hair and makeup. Using her personal experience to identify a void in her industry, she founded Up Do’s For I Do’s in 2004.

Ten years later, Ashley’s experienced and talented team now travels on location both locally and nationally. With studio offices in Northern Virginia and Baltimore, brides can come for consultations and trials prior to their big day!

I am so honored to have the privilege of working along side Ashley and her team on countless photo shoots. Serena | Headshot Photography

Words from Serena:

I've worked in the beauty industry since I was old enough to have a job! Fashion and accentuating ones true beauty has always been something that interested me. While still in high-school I started an apprenticeship, shadowing underneath one the best hair dressers I have ever met: Kara Ford. I have been blessed and fortunate to work with so many amazing people that have helped to shape me into the stylist I am today. From photo-shoots, an average day in the salon, and a brides special wedding day- I love my career and am so lucky to be able to say that.

Allison Barnhill

Had a great time shooting this pretty and talented lady. Allison, owner of Allison Barnhill Designs, started her business years ago after taking on the Herculean task of designing all of the paper products and accessories for her wedding....and the rest is history! Her creative spirit is infectious.

Lucy's Magazine | Samson & Delilah

As a photographer my personal art has usually been sparked by visual inspiration such as films, fashion and everyday life. This story is a little bit different from the rest of my work. It was inspired by a treasured lesson from the Bible. It is a story about love, loss, greed,  seduction, strength, and testing faith.

My visual interpretation of the tragic love story of Sampson and Delilah portrayed as a fashion story that was created in my mind and made it into a reality with the help of amazing talents of which I was privileged to collaborate. Please enjoy my interpretation of Sampson and Delilah in fashion.

I am beyond excited to have this story featured "LUCY'S" a international fashion photography magazine. Thank you to my entire team!

The images will appear on promotional material as well as the restaurant's website, designed by Curb Media. For more information on the Restaurant and to see more photos visit www.rusticoonline.com

Meet Jean Wade Mayer & Emily Jean Villarreal, co-owners of Boutique Events.  They met while employed at a catering company in Hunt Valley and shortly thereafter decided to start their own business together as event planners and consultants.  Jean & Emily are partnered with Gertrude’s, a restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Jennifer Ellision

Meet Jennifer: Jennifer Ellision spent a great deal of her childhood staying up past her bedtime with a book and a flashlight. When she couldn’t find the stories she wanted to read, she started writing them. She loves words, has a soft spot for fanfiction, and is a master of the fangirl flail. She lives in South Florida with her family, where she lives in fear of temperatures below 60 Fahrenheit. She’s also one of the bloggers behind the book blog, The Bevy Bibliotheque.

Her debut Young Adult epic fantasy, Threats of Sky and Sea, will be available May 20, 2014.

About Threats of Sky and Sea:

Sixteen year-old Breena Perdit has spent her life as a barmaid, innocent to her father’s past and happily free from the Elemental gifts that would condemn her to a life in the Egrian King’s army. Until the day that three Elemental soldiers recognize her father as a traitor to the throne and Bree’s father is thrown in jail—along with the secrets from his last mission as the King’s assassin. Secrets that could help the King win a war. Secrets he refuses to share.

Desperate to escape before the King’s capricious whims prove her and her father’s downfall, Bree bargains with him: information for their lives. It’s a good trade. And she has faith she’ll get them both out of the King’s grasp with time.

But that was before the discovery that she’s the weapon the King’s been waiting for in his war.

Now, time is running out. To save her father’s life and understand her own, Bree must unravel the knot of her father’s past before the King takes his life– and uses her to bring a nation to its knees.
