Baby C

I had a great time photographing Shendel & Ken Clingenpeel in their new home. With their first baby on the way, I wanted to make sure the two four-legged soon-to-be older siblings had their moment in the spotlight, too. Excited to photograph Baby C with the rest of the family once he (or she!) arrives!

"Lady Catherine" still Beautiful 67 Years On

Widely regarded as the "Rolls-Royce of American motor yachts", this 60' Trumpy Yacht, built in 1947, captures the spirit of a bygone era of yacht building. Captain & Owner Richard B. Hamilton along with his wife Catherine have managed to preserve all of the beautiful period details that make these yachts so special. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to capture this beautiful vessel on camera. Lady Catherine is also available for private charter. Visit trumpycharters.com for additional information.

Hotel Rodney

If you have ever been to Lewes, Delaware, you have for surely seen or at least heard of Hotel Rodney. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting the property in person, below are a selection of photos I took for a regional luxury publication. Built in 1926, the hotel is a wild, but welcome, departure from the typical coastal design one expects from the Delaware Beaches. Beautifully restored panelling, original chandeliers and unique hardware mix with Exotic flourishes. Python upholstery, exotic wood accents, leather, chrome, state-of-the-art electronics and Thai Elephant chairs (a guest favorite) add an unexpected edge. Check it out for yourself!

Happy New Space

New year…..new space! This year marks my 4th year in business as a professional photographer and I am so excited to have a new office space to bring clients, plan, edit and create. Located near the historic district of Annapolis, the new space is convenient to both sides of the bay and beyond. Being from South Florida, I wanted a space that had a coastal vibe with a bit of modern thrown in…and I think I got it! Big thanks to my designer at Michael Carroll Interiors! Looking forward to ushering in a new year of projects in my new space. Take a look!

Taste | Rustico

Tiramisu recipe from Rustico! This is by far one of my all time favorite desserts on the face of the earth!

_MG_5943.JPG
_MG_5936.JPG
  • 2-3 cups espresso coffee, cooled to room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons Tia Maria or other coffee flavored liqueur
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 ⁄2 cup caster sugar
  • 250 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 250 grams ladyfingers
  • cocoa powder

Put the egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl. Beat with electric mixer until the mixture is pale and thick. Add mascarpone and beat until combined. Whip the cream until stiff peaks hold, and fold gently into the egg mixture.

Beat the egg whites to soft peaks in a clean metal bowl. Fold the whites into the cream while retaining as much air as possible.

Combine coffee and liqueur into a large shallow dish. Break the ladyfingers into pieces that will fit in your glasses, and dip them into the coffee mixture one at a time. Drain well.

Alternate 4 layers in the glasses beginning with ladyfingers, and topping with cream mixture. Smooth surfaces and dust with cocoa. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
